Movie Description
An epic television mini-series, this 1969 BBC production was followed by audiences for one half of a television season of American public television series and essentially saved the fledgling Public Broadcasting System. The literary adaptation begins with these episodes following the Victorian pride of the Forsyte family through the scandals and mistakes of the patriarch, Soames (Eric Porter). Based on James Galworthy's Nobel Prize winner.
