Movie Description This is the first in the successful workout series hosted by fitness instructor Susan Harris. Don't be fooled by the classic 1980s leotards, this is a tough, effective workout using the interval system which works the muscle's in short, powerful bursts in order to maximize the aerobic benefits. THE FIRM hits hard and fast with an emphasis on floor work, making this great for exercisers seeking a lower body and cardio workout. Beginners shouldn't skip the informative pre-workout section which gives form and safety instructions as the pace of the routine and Harris' shouts of encouragement leave little time for such subtleties. The incorporation of aerobics with light weights, jogging in place, lunges, and jumping jacks testify to the program's no-nonsense attitude and allows for a work out with a minimum of equipment.
