Movie Description Based on Alexandre Dumas' classic novel THE MAN IN THE IRON MASK, THE FIFTH MUSKETEER is a tale of intrigue and deceit, played out on a grand scale. Set during the reign of King Louis XIV, the story focuses on Dumas' famous musketeers, D'Artagnan, Athos, Porthos and Aramis. The quartet now wants to replace the reigning ruler with an identical "twin" -- a man who has been locked away his entire life because of his uncanny resemblance to the tyrannical Sun King. Beau Bridges gives a dual performance as both Louis XIV and his twin brother, Philippe.
