Synopsis
A secluded backwoods cabin is the eerie setting for this somewhat gory, supernatural horror film. In hopes of unraveling the meaning behind his recurring nightmare, psychology student Richard sets up a "fear confrontation" weekend with his friends. The group contains a mixture of mystical and hip characters, all willing to explore their neuroses... until the creatures from Richard's dreams start coming to bloody life.

The debut film of Vincent Robert evokes the spirit of kitsch horror master Ed Wood, and features a performance by that other horror maestro, Wes Craven.

Includes songs by Gravediggaz and Esham.

Industry Reviews
"The Fear" starts out as a plausible little horror film, but quickly descends to the absurd. A psychology student invites a group of friends to a mountain cabin to explore their fears. But for some strange reason, a wooden mannequin named "Morty" springs to life to menace them, presumably with the threat of a nasty splinter. In a hilariously silly climax, Morty chases the heroes through the woods, clunking like a box full of Tinker-Toys. The actors deserve medals for keeping straight faces, and the scriptwriter's head should go on the block.
