Movie Description
Psychiatric patient Max believes he's receiving psychic visions of an abducted boy and girl. As the visions become more nightmarish, and the dangers to the children more dire, Max becomes convinced that he must escape the psychiatric ward and save them. However his unsympathetic psychiatrist sees the "visions" as just another psychotic episode, and all the more reason to keep Max locked away. His only ally is his schizophrenic girlfriend, Maddie, and the two eventually break out together in a desperate attempt to save the children. The thrilling and intricately plotted film jumps between Max's storyline and the plight of the kidnapped children, and leaves the audience guessing at what is real and what is not.
