Synopsis An elephant's eleventh birthday party is marked by eleven games preceding the banquet to be eaten at the eleventh hour; but when the time to eat arrives, the birthday feast has disappeared. The reader is invited to guess the thief., Horace the elephant decides to celebrate his 11th birthday by having all his pals over for a huge celebration. There are sack races, a pool tournament, a tennis match, hide-and-seek, and a tug of war. Of course, everything will be topped off with a gigantic feast prepared by Horace himself. However, at the 11th hour, the guests rush into the dining room only to discover that the delicious meal has been completely devoured. Who could have done such a devious thing?
