Movie Description
THE DREAD tips its hat to that mother of all slasher films, HALLOWEEN, with a bloody tale of family horror. When teenage Teri (Sally Pressman, ARMY WIVES) discovers that she was adopted as a child after the murder of her parents, she sets off to find her last living family member: brother Alex (J. Steadman), a disturbed catatonic who has been locked up in a mental institution since their parents' deaths. But Teri's arrival at the hospital awakens the slumber of Alex's inner demons, leading to a grisly rampage of terror in the rundown asylum's sinister halls. THE EVIL DEAD's Ellen Sandweiss has a supporting role in this low-budget horror film directed by Michael Spence.
