Synopsis
In this novel set during World War II an 11-year-old girl named Tally is sent from the dangerous city of London to the relative safety of an exclusive country boarding school. At this new school, Tally forms a dance troupe, which is eventually invited to travel to Bergania, a nearby country whose king has famously refused to comply with Hitler's demands. However, once in this foreign land, Tally finds herself in the middle of an international incident--far from home and on the run from Nazis.
