Movie Description
An espionage thriller set against the background of an assassination plot. Hackman plays an adventurer who becomes enmeshed in a murderous organization.
Synopsis
Convicted murderer Roy Tucker is serving time in San Quentin when he is visited by two men from a covert government agency. The men offer to help Tucker escape from prison, give him $200,000, and a home in Spain. The catch? Tucker must assassinate a political figure for the mysterious agency. Tucker initially agrees, but once he's free, decides he doesn't wish to carry out the assignment. This decision angers the agency -- and puts Tucker's life in jeopardy...
