Synopsis
Nicholas Evans's novel THE HORSE WHISPERER was a mega-seller. Now in THE DIVIDE, he begins the story with another icy tragedy: a body is found on a mountain in Montana, encased in ice. The dead woman is Abbie Cooper, a fugitive wanted for murder resulting from a fire-bombing perpetrated by the Earth Liberation Front, an eco-terrorism group. When her divorced parents come to Montana to claim Abbie's body, the story flashes back to the history of this troubled family.
