Album Notes
A key player in the Christian hip-hop realm through his ministry and his songwriting and rapping in the Cross Movement, John "The Tonic" Wells has created his first solo album. Though not an overhaul of his usual sound, the album is slightly more eclectic than his group work, with gritty gangsta-esque numbers mingling with trippier, keyboard-based tracks. Eclecticism notwithstanding, the songs are united in their theme, which is the call for a meaningful life as an instrument of the Lord.
