If he doesn’t get published, he’ll make sure they perish. Val Kilmer is the mysterious Jimmy, a disgraced scientist whose tenuous grip on sanity is finally broken when no one is willing to acknowledge his work on the subject of global warming. In an effort to get his paper printed in the local newspaper and, moreover, prove his point that the increases in the Earth’s temperature will negatively affect people’s mental states, Jimmy locks six strangers in an undisclosed steambath. As the temperature climbs and the victims are pushed closer and closer to the edge, a hard-boiled detective (Armand Assante) struggles to find what it will take to release them. Eric Roberts co-stars in this nerve-racking psychological mystery-thriller that will leave viewers sweating.
