Synopsis
This sequel to the fan-favorite spy thriller THE BOURNE IDENTITY inspired a 2004 film starring Matt Damon in the title role. Jason Bourne does not exist. He is merely a cover identity for CIA assassin David Webb, now in retirement. Nevertheless, someone has taken the Bourne identity--and used it to kill the Chinese Vice-Premier. Disturbed by this event, the CIA kidnaps Webb/Bourne's wife in order to force him to go after both the impostor and his master, a Chinese minister with a devastating secret agenda.
