Synopsis
This contemporary classic spy thriller was the basis of both a 2002 theatrical film starring Matt Damon as well as a 1988 TV movie with Robert Chamberlain. A man is pulled out of the Mediterranean Sea by a fishing boat. He has been shot several times, bears the telltale scars of the plastic surgery that has altered his features, has a piece of microfilm displaying a Swiss bank account number implanted in his hip...and he has no memory. Aided by the money in the account, a few scraps of information (including his name: Jason Bourne), a ferocious will to survive, and the woman he kidnapped, he must figure out who he is, while eluding his deadly pursuers--chief of which is the world's most notorious assassin.
