Industry Reviews "The story is insightful and humorous, capturing perfectly a teenage girl's feelings of confusion and doubt....Combining genuine, believable characters with an easy-to-read and hard-to-put-down novel, Dessen writes with the same depth and skill as Katherine Paterson and Richard Peck....Highly recommenced." Voya - Anne Liebst (12/19/1996)
"Displaying a flair for evocative names and well-timed plot twists, Dessen takes her tall and usually levelheaded teen through two weddings and a succession of disturbing, often comic, surprises, to a climactic explosion." Swift
