Movie Description

Ever the Renaissance man, William Shatner executive produces, directs and co-stars in the inaugural film based on his series of "Tek" sci-fi novels, "Tekwar." Starring Greg Evigan as an ex-cop who's just been released from a cryogenic prison, this yawner is a simple detective yarn spiced with a few high-tech bells and whistles. Evigan tries to save the world from "tek," a kind of virtual-reality heroin, while also trying to clear his name. It's just a bad cross between "TJ Hooker" and "Star Trek," a hybrid the market doesn't need.
