Movie Description With TALES OF EROTICA, executive producer Regina Ziegler brings together a group of notable directors to tell a steamy quartet of passionate tales. In Susan Seidelman's THE DUTCH MASTER, Teresa (Mira Sorvino) is a soon-to-be-married dentist's assistant who finds herself becoming enamored with a classic painting in a gallery. When the painting begins to show signs of life, Teresa's floodgates of eroticism are opened wide. Ken Russell's THE INSATIABLE MRS. KIRSCH follows a writer (Simon Shepherd) who falls for his beautiful neighbor (Hetty Baynes) when he hears what he thinks is a sexual buzzing coming from her hotel room. When he discovers the noise's true cause, he reevaluates his former projections. In Melvin Van Peebles's VROOOM, VROOM, VROOOOM, an unpopular young man (Richard Barboza) saves the life of a genie, triggering a series of wild, titillating road trips on a motorcycle that gradually attains invitingly female attributes. Finally, in Bob Rafelson's WET, a hot tub dealer (Arliss Howard) becomes just that--in more ways than one--when he is seduced by an incredibly sexy customer (Cynda Williams). Each director blends eroticism with humor, closing their stories with an ironic, mischievous twist, adding yet another touch of spice to the proceedings.
Synopsis TALES OF EROTICA features a four passionate short films, directed by Susan Seidelman, Ken Russell, Melvin van Peebles, and Bob Rafelson.
