Movie Description
An enchanting French fantasy about a young girl who falls in love with the ghost of her grandmother's lover. Stars Odette Joyeux as Sylvia and actor-director Jacques Tati of "Mr. Hulot" fame as the phantom.
Synopsis
A sixteen year old girl falls in love with the painting of her grandmother's lover who died in a duel two generations before. When her father sells the painting in order to pay for her birthday party, the girl becomes despondent. To appease her, the father hires actors to portray the lover's ghost at the party. In the meantime, the actual phantom appears and upon seeing the girl falls in love...
