Movie Description
Adapted from actual diaries discovered in an apartment in the Bronx, this powerful drama charts a Wall Street executive's descent into the abyss of drug addiction. Beginning as an ill-conceived plan to make easy money by selling crack cocaine, his fall continues as he starts using his product and is ultimately faced with the loss of his wife, family, and life.
Synopsis
When Angel discovers the easy money made by selling crack, he quits his dull entry-level brokerage job and deals full-time. Not only is he now able to impress his wife by purchasing expensive gifts, but he has discovered a new form of happiness by smoking crack. However, as he gets deeper into drugs, his behavior changes, and he grows paranoid and aggressive. Soon, his wife begins to understand that some things are more important than material goods, and threatens to leave him if he doesn't clean up his act.

The screenplay is based on notebooks found in the basement of a Bronx tenement building. The filmmakers found the author, who's name is Angel, and admitted him into a rehabilitation clinic. Currently, Angel has been clean for over two years.
