Movie Description A history professor's life and peaceful college town are turned upside down when a film company arrives to make a movie out of his best-selling book on the American Revolution.
Synopsis Hollywood meets academia in this mild-mannered comedy written, directed by and starring nice guy Alan Alda. A film crew descends on a small North Carolina college town to turn a history professor's scrupulously accurate novel about the American Revolution into big screen entertainment. The professor assists the maniacal screenwriter with on-set rewrites, struggling to keep the vulgarity quotient down, but still finds time to pursue the film's luscious leading lady.
