Synopsis
This work of psychological suspense was named Sweden's Best First Crime Novel of 2003. Rebecka Martinsson, a lonely Stockholm tax lawyer, confronts her painful past when a childhood friend, Sanna Strandgard, summons her back to their northern hometown of Kiruna. Sanna needs Rebecka's help because she's been accused of murdering her brother Viktor, a popular religious leader whose mutilated corpse she discovered lying in his church, The Source of All Strength.
