Roots-rockers the BoDeans have been making records since the mid-1980s, and, though not the most prolific band, have seen some chart action, MTV rotation, and acclaim, including the retroactive popularity of their song "Closer to Free," which was used as the theme song for PARTY OF FIVE in the '90s. This 2008 album--their eighth studio recording--glows under the sympathetic production of ace producer T-Bone Burnett (who also produced their debut), and showcases the lush harmonies of singers Kurt Neumann and Sam Llanas.
