In SPIN CITY’s fictional City Hall, Deputy Mayor Mike Flaherty (Michael J. Fox) is the sole voice of sanity, and the sitcom’s sophomore season puts his tolerance to the test: the gaffe-prone mayor (Barry Bostwick) is caught entering an adult bookstore; the press secretary (Richard Kind) is committed to a mental institution; and the head of minority affairs (Michael Boatman) is mistaken for a mugger.
