Synopsis
Be, a young Bushman woman searching in the desert for the peace she remembers from her childhood, realizes that she and her people must reconcile new personal and political realities with ancient traditions., The story of Be, a Ju/'huoan girl of Eastern Bushmanland in Namibia. Be must come to terms with the many family secrets she discovers when she and her mother go to work on the farm of a white family.
