The U.K. production duo known as the Herbaliser (Jake Therry and Ollie Teeba) score again on their eclectic fourth full-length LP, SOMETHING WICKED THIS WAY COMES. Utilizing traditional boom-bap drums, funky horn arrangements, lofty strings, and a wide array of inspired movie samples, the London-based beatsmiths place loungy, jazz-based instrumentals in between high-energy vocal cuts featuring verses from underground MCs Iriscience and MF Doom and British hip-hop artists Wildflower, Blade, and Phi Life Cypher.
