Leaving his large family behind, a small white rabbit roams the green and yellow desert, exploring every which way until he is completely lost. Surrounded by toys, a young boy can't find anything to do. Then a huge storm arrives, darkening the skies as rain pours down. At this moment, the desert stories of an extraordinary seed, a tiny rabbit, and a bored boy intertwine. With rustic, earth-toned watercolor and white gouache paintings. Kevin Henkes is the author and artist of the 2005 Caldecott Medal-winning KITTEN'S FIRST FULL MOON.
