Synopsis
On his way to college, John Moody stops to ask for directions and is seduced by the slightly deranged teenage orphan Arlie. They marry and have a son, Sam. The dysfunctional family lives in the Glass Slipper, an all-windows building built by John's famous architect father, and the eerie house becomes the site of a multi-generational tragedy, filled with adultery, drug-abuse, and untimely death. Though SKYLIGHT CONFESSIONS is an unrelentingly bleak story, there is, at the end, a glimmer of redemption, as the clueless John sees through the mistakes of his life and begins to grasp the bitter truth.
