About this Movie
Movie Description
Continuing the SILENT NIGHT, DEADLY NIGHT legacy, part three (subtitled BETTER WATCH OUT!) tells another blood-soaked tale of murder by a knife-wielding psychopath. As the film begins, we learn that the blind Laura (Samantha Scully)--a supposed psychic--has been commissioned by Dr. Newbury (Richard Beymer) to monitor her dreams. What he couldn't have imagined is that the nightmares that torment her are due to the presence of the coma victim in the next room, Richard "Ricky" Caldwell (Bill Moseley). When Laura leaves with her brother Chris (Eric Da Re) and his girlfriend Jerri (Laura Herring) to spend Christmas with their grandmother in a small town north of Los Angeles, her departure brings Ricky back to consciousness, sparking a murderous mission to reunite with Laura, the woman who brought him back to life. Assigned to the case is the cynical Lt. Connelly (Robert Culp), as well as the troubled Dr. Newbury, who feels partly responsible for Ricky's escape. By the time Laura gets to her grandmother's house, she senses the danger that lies ahead, yet can do nothing to prevent it from happening. Cult director Monte Hellman, working on autopilot, adds a healthy dose of comedy to his picture, which keeps it fresh and entertaining throughout.
