Movie Description
Leaving behind the chattering slot machines of Vegas for the tumbleweed-tossed American frontier, the Rat Pack ride across the Wild West in this irreverent update of GUNGA DIN. Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and Peter Lawford star as a trio of heroic cavalrymen who--along with a slave-turned-bugler played by Sammy Davis Jr.--battle the usual assortment of malicious Indians and sordid outlaws. Director John Sturges (THE MAGNIFICENT SEVEN) keeps things light, favoring the comic sparring of his stars over the action, making for one of the better Rat Pack films.
