As usual, Wynton's esteemed guests include the young stars Eric Reed, Wessell Anderson, Marcus Roberts, Wycliffe Gordon, and Herlin Riley, among many others. All shine brightly as Marsalis leads the way through highly arranged versions of favorites like "Embraceable You," Monk's "Reflections" and "Misterioso," and the burning "Cherokee." Like the box, this is the next best thing to being right there in the front row.
