Synopsis
This addition to a long-running paranormal romance series tells the story of Valerius, born the son of a senator in ancient Rome and now an immortal Dark-Hunter, a soulless being sworn to fight evil. Valerius finds himself reluctantly teamed up with the vampire-slaying Tabitha Devereaux, the sister-in-law of Val's nemesis, ex-Dark Hunter Kyrian. Tabitha and her relations are threatened by a dark power, and Val must not only struggle to protect his enemies but also battle his ever-growing passion for the infuriating Tabitha.
