Movie Description
Adapted from a stage play about contemporary racism, this indie drama was a runaway hit on the festival circuit. Flint is a young black student at a Connecticut prep school about to realize his dead father's dream for him: a good college education. Taylor, a racist white kid who's obviously never had to work for anything, uses any excuse to fight him, trying to destroy all that Flint has earned. Flint's strongest ally is the unlikely Dr. Gelding, a kindly but eccentric history teacher. Jesse L. Martin (LAW & ORDER, RENT) co-stars.
