Synopsis
After being told that his father was an assassin for a criminal organization, fourteen-year-old Alex goes to Italy to find out more and becomes involved in a plan to kill thousands of English schoolchildren., Teen secret agent Alex Rider is in Venice, trying to uncover the secrets of his father's past as an assassin for Scorpia, an esoteric crime syndicate. With their name as his only clue, Alex scours the city, coming up empty-handed until, by chance, a private gondola leads him to the impressive, sinister Widow's Palace. There, he enters the diabolical heart of Scorpia and very nearly joins them until he unveils a depraved plot called "Invisible Sword." This is the fifth heart-stopping adventure in the ALEX RIDER series.
