Movie Description Like his groundbreaking, immensely popular COWBOY BEBOP, director Shinichiro Watanabe's SAMURAI CHAMPLOO seamlessly blends a variety of genres and tones. Taking place in feudal Japan, the Animé utilizes creative anachronisms and a hip-hop soundtrack and attitude. Three characters wander the Japanese countryside, seeking out "the samurai who smells of sunflowers": flaky waitress Fuu, impulsive and wild warrior Mugen, and calm, traditional Ronin Jin. In VOLUME TWO, the trio find themselves in the big city with no money in their pockets. Fuu tries her hand at modeling, and the guys decide to join an eating contest. But they soon find that there's no one they can trust in the big city, and that their superior fighting skills may be the only thing they can rely on! Contains episodes 5-8.
