This consisted of seven unknown comedians doing controversial but hilarious material, and a revolving cast of cutting-edge hosts and bands. Here, members of the original cast--the Not Ready for Prime Time Players--speak candidly in interviews about their experiences on the show, before anyone knew what a phenomenon SNL would become. Dan Akroyd, Chevy Chase, Garrett Morris, and Laraine Newman are joined by some of the prominent guest hosts of the era, including Elliott Gould and Steve Martin, to wax nostalgic about the golden days.
