Synopsis At the age of 36, after 11 years as a successful business management consultant, Roz Savage ditched her job, her marriage, her sports car, and her conventional life, in order to do something bigger and bolder. A few years later, Savage became the first women to row solo across the Atlantic Ocean. In her inspirational memoir ROWING THE ATLANTIC, she describes her harrowing journey (at one point all of her oars broke and she lost all radio communication), and testifies to the radical impact one person can make on the world.
