Movie Description The big bad company has bought Detroit out and sends gangs of ruthless mercenaries out into the streets to throw residents out of their homes. But Robocop does not swerve from his order to serve and protect the citizens, leading a group of freedom fighters against the cruel executives.
Synopsis Delta City, an opulent, epicurean high-rise -- scheduled to replace a Detroit tenement -- is the business venture of a major Japanese corporation controlled by evil millionaire Kanemitsu. And mega-conglomerate Omni Consumer Products (OCP) has been hoping to get in on the gravy train by pandering to the Japanese corporation and dispatching its legion of armed forces to evict impoverished tenants. But when RoboCop joins the underground guerrilla army of homeless united against multinational conglomerate appropriation, there will be more opposition than anyone bargained for.
Film Notes The special sound effects created by supervisiong sound editor Bruce Richardson were highly inventive. He combined recordings of a helicopter and an F-14 jet to create the cyborg's jet gear.
