For his 2007 debut on the venerable Epitaph label, Busdriver, aka Los Angeles rapper Regan Farquhar, unleashes another round of his fiercely intellectual rhymes. While he exudes energy on the frenetic "Casting Agents and Cowgirls" and other tracks, Busdriver also knows how to work a more meditative groove, as on the mesmerizing "Ethereal Driftwood" and the dreamy "Go Slow," making ROADKILLOVERCOAT a fascinatingly varied hip-hop album.
