Album Notes Also available with "Viva Terlingua" on 1 cassette. This mid-'70s effort, with Nashville session stalwarts including Neil Young producer David Briggs on piano playing alongside Walker's Lost Gonzo Band regulars, finds the star suffering with something of case of writer's block. Only two of the songs--"I Love You" (a touching ode to his wife) and the very funny "Pissin' in the Wind"--are Walker originals. Fortunately, the rest of the songs fit him like the proverbial glove, including Willie Nelson's surprisingly rocking "Pick Up the Tempo," Jesse Winchester's "Mississipi, You're on My Mind," and Guy Clark's ruefully romantic "Like a Coat From the Cold." The latter occasions this album's most evocative vocal.
