Synopsis It is 1941, and the United States waffles on whether or not to join the war in Europe. Enter Eva Delectorskaya, a young Russian living in France, who, after the murder of her brother by the fascists, joins British intelligence and becomes a super-spy. Working with a Belgian spy team, she begins to use carefully placed propaganda and misinformation to lure the U.S. into the war. Her deception has long-term effects, and her life remains shrouded in mystery and danger into the 1970s, when her daughter discovers her mother's secret history.
