Originally self-released in 2004, the seven-song EP REASON was reissued in the wake of the Fray's mainstream success with the album HOW TO SAVE A LIFE. This EP has one song in common with that major label debut, an early version of the single "Vienna," but the other six songs on REASON are otherwise unavailable examples of the Fray's catchy emo-pop, showing why this young Colorado band was snapped up by CBS/Sony shortly after this EP was first released. Highlights include the powerful opener, "Together."
