Synopsis
A star-studded cast is all aboard for this screen adaptation of Clive Cussler's best-selling yarn.
U.S. officials learn the sunken Titanic contains minerals crucial to the manufacture of new weapons technology. A group of experts -- a crack techie, a shifty naval admiral, a detached yes-man from a think tank, and an elderly former crewman of the ill-fated cruiseship -- sets out to raise the Titanic to the surface.
The Soviet Union, in the meantime, just heard about the Americans' efforts, and its military personnel want the minerals for themselves...
