An up-and-coming R&B singer travels from Mississippi to Los Angeles in search of her dreams in R&B CHICK. Though Sterling may picture herself standing in the limelight, she soon ends up down and out, sleeping in her car. Her prayers are answered when she meets Nate, a music producer who holds the key to fulfilling her ambitions.
