This is an Enhanced CD, which contains both regular audio tracks and multimedia computer files.
By 2009, pop had moved enough to not be so far from punk (or vice versa), but the bands on the Fearless compilation PUNK GOES POP 2 (a sequel six years in the making) find intriguing ways of inventing popular songs of the previous 12 years or so. While some merely take already punkish songs and make them harder-edged (as Chiodos does to Harvey Danger's "Flagpole Sitta"), others completely disembowel the original (see Four Year Strong's abrasive knock-off of Sara Bereilles's "Love Song"). By far, the most original re-imagining comes from Attack! Attack! at the collection's end, who make a wonderful electronica-screamo mess of Katy Perry's "I Kissed a Girl."
