Synopsis
New York novelist and journalist Amy Sohn crafts a hilarious set of caricatures depicting the often insignificant complexities which tangle the lives of the wives and mothers of Park Slope, Brooklyn. The ladies regularly convene in the playgrounds, cafés, and grocery co-ops for conversations which inevitably spiral into verbal competitions for discerning whose relatively luxurious life is the most stressful. The current moms all continue to dwell in their past identities--former lesbian, former Manhattanite, former Oscar-winning actress--though they are open to exploring new hobbies such as adultery and kleptomania.
