Description
Are you a good trainer? Find out as you try to capture and train pocket monsters, otherwise known as POKEMON, in the RED version. As Ash Ketchum, you'll pursue 150 different monsters, from Pikachu to Blastoise. Train them well, and they'll evolve into more powerful monsters. Trade with your friends and work on your training strategy...you'll need a good one to defeat eight GYM leaders and reach your full monster training potential.

Collect up to 139 Pokémon with this game, both Red and Blue versions are required to capture all 150; use the optional Game Link cable to trade Pokémon and play against a friend; for one to two players
