Synopsis A five-year-old boy thinks his body is falling apart untill he learns new teeth grow and hair and skin replace themselves., The young narrator of this book is horrified to discover that he's coming apart--piece by piece. Luckily, his parents are able to reassure him that such things as fuzz in his bellybutton, skin peeling off his toes, and losing teeth are all normal parts of life. Watercolor and colored pencil illustrations accompany the rhyming text.
