THE OFFICE producers Greg Daniels and Michael Schur are the creative minds behind PARKS & RECREATION, a comedy about the earnest-but-absurd world of municipal politics. Framed as a mockumentary, the sitcom stars Amy Poehler (SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE) as Leslie Knope, a small-time civic leader with big dreams and difficult cohorts, including the hilariously self-involved bureaucrat, Tom Haverford (Aziz Ansari), the bored intern, April (Aubrey Plaza), the obstructing boss, Ron (Nick Offerman), and the dour city planner, Mark (Paul Schneider). In order to climb the ladder and complete her current project--helping a no-nonsense nurse (Rashida Jones) turn a construction pit into a park-- she'll have to stay almost naively plucky in the face of rampant indifference and disrespect. This collection includes every episode of the first season of PARKS & RECREATION.
