Synopsis
Eleven-year-old Park makes some startling discoveries when he travels to his grandfather's farm in Virginia to learn about his father who died in the Vietnam War., Park has never known his father who was killed in Vietnam when Park was a baby. His mother finds reminiscing about her husband to be extremely painful and thus refuses to discuss him with Park. When she finally understands Park's need to know about his father, she sends him to visit his paternal grandfather. Park gets to know the family, including his Uncle Frank and his Vietnamese wife and child. By the end of the visit, Park is ready to face and accept the truth about his father.
