One of the longest-running Norteno ensembles in the Mexico/Texas border region (with recordings dating back to the 1970s), Conjunto Primavera offers up an impressive two-disc collection of its finest songs on 2006's PARA TI NUESTRA HISTORIA. Whether its themes are festive or melancholy, the band's accordion-driven sound is always engaging and often upbeat, as exemplified by lively tracks such as "Mi Tierra Chihuahua" and "Rey Pobre."
